Vehicle Exchange Specialist

  • Full Time
  • 1-yr+ experience in the automotive industry preferred
  • Uncapped Bonus - structured to make $50k+ annually with obtainable goals

Job Description:

We’re looking for a self-motivated, process-minded individual looking to be challenged daily by converting service customers to sales customers. This job offers autonomy in developing your own style/system using the industry's top data/equity mining software tools to target prospects that are well positioned to transition into a new vehicle while keeping their payment the same.

This job is a perfect fit for someone that is always looking out for the customer’s best interest, while still maintaining a revenue stream for the dealership by finding sales where one would typically not look. All you have to do is present the customers with options using the data at your disposal; do it consistently and with passion.

Job Responsibilities:

You will assist current service customers that are positioned to move into a new vehicle by lowering their payment, lowering their interest rate, or upgrading their vehicle. We will help you develop a process to seed these ideas to the targeted customers before their service appointment, follow up when they are here, and follow up after they leave with all options for them to make a well-informed buying decision.

  • Excellent face-to-face communication skills
  • Good ability to communicate via email / SMS / MMS
  • Willingness to be coached and get help from management
  • Willingness to make videos for customer to build excitement
  • Willingness to learn how to appraise vehicles and explain to customers the trade-in value of their vehicle based on competitive set data and condition
  • Willingness to learn Toyota product knowledge

Additional Qualifications For the Role Include:

  • Auto Alert Experience Preferred (but not required)
  • VIN Solutions Experience Preferred (but not required)
  • Bilingual/multilingual skills is a plus
